Puzzle Pieces

Scatterbrain scattermind
Me all the time
Confusion confusion
Illusion on illusion
As reality
Has many layers
Life has
Many players
Can I read your mind?
Did the words in your face
Slip into my
Scattermind
Throw me off course
Set sail set to shore
Or are the turbulent waters
My own?
Illusion illusion
Confusion on confusion
As I try to fill in the blanks
Of the little puzzle pieces you let escape
As they get jumbled up among my own
No clear picture is shown
Scatterbrain, scattermind
Who I am I try to find.
Who I am in part is a helper
Which is why
I pick up your loose pieces
When I’ve not yet got mine together.
